Process for obtaining stable gloss films, threads and fibers, characterized in that 95 to 60 parts by weight of a copolymer of acrylonitrile are mixed with each other with 35 to 60% by weight of vinylidene chloride and/or vinyl chloride, optionally with another copolymerizable vinyl component, containing acidic or basic functional groups, and 5 to 40 parts by weight of a graft copolymer or copolymer of N-vinylpyrrolidone containing at least 15% units of N-vinylpyrrolidone in an organic solvent and the solution formed is made into films, threads and fibers.
