Abstract

Procedure for the preparation of molded and non-molded refractory products and/or articles, suitable to be used for vaults and furnace walls in general, characterized by comprising the use of the following mixture; a) Silico-aluminous or aluminous granular refractory material, with a percentage of alumina between 30 and 95%, present in the mixture in a percentage between 50 and 95%; b) cast aluminous cement in a percentage between 2 and 50%, c) a first additive capable of increasing the resistance of the final material in the temperature range between 300 and 1350ºC, said additive being formed by one or more of the following compounds : sodium aluminates, calcium phosphate, calcium phosphate, sodium phosphate, sodium pyrophosphate (Na4P2O7), sodium silicate (with Na2O/SiO2 ratio between 1 and 3), sodium polyphosphate (Na2O).
