Abstract

Aparato de respiración individual en el que está incorporado un cartucho de regeneración de los gases espirados, constituido por un cuerpo cilíndrico de material compatible con el superóxido de potasio, cerrado por dos fondos adaptados de manera que aseguren una perfecta estanqueidad, en el interior del cual está alojada una carga de superóxido de potasio, caracterizado porque el cartucho de regeneración comprende en la parte inferior una bóveda autoportante constituida por un filtro, que mantiene la carga de regeneración constituida a su vez por pastillas a base de superóxido de potasio de forma curva y/o poligonal, que presentan al menos caras convexas, obtenidas por compresión de un polvo de superóxido de potasio a una presión relativa de 80 a 120 kg/cm2, estando comprendida la porosidad de dichas pastillas entre 40 y 50%.
