Abstract

Improvements in the means of controlling the spindle rotation at an output end of a textile machine during the knot tying operations, the improvement comprising: A rotating disc to control the rotation of said spindle when it is in clutch with it. Rotational traction means for imparting rotation to said disc when it is in traction contact with it. A dual pivot mounting means having a fixed pivot axis and a movable pivot axis, said dual pivot mounting means mounting to said disc for pivoting movement on said axes between the desired positions of disc clutch and disengagement thereof with respect to said spindle and said rotational traction means. Elastic deflection means to deflect said disc towards at least one of the aforementioned positions. And a control actuator loosely connected to said double pivot mounting means for initiating said pivoting movement of the aforementioned disc between various of the aforementioned positions thereof.
