Abstract

Procedure for composing stable preparations of water-soluble or dispersible reaction products, characterized by reacting: a) an epoxy component resulting from the reaction in a first phase of: a') at least one epoxide containing at least 2 epoxy groups per molecule and a'') at least one high molecular weight fatty amine, in which component a ratio of equivalents of epoxy groups to amine groups of 1: 0.1 to 1: 0.85 is maintained, and preferably from 1: 0.1 to 1: 0.5 with b) a basic polyamide component resulting from the condensation, likewise in a first phase, of b') unsaturated, polymeric fatty acids, and b'') polyalkylene polyamines, whose reaction of component a) with component b) is verified in the presence of an organic solvent, at temperatures up to 95ºC preferably between 25º and 80ºC; and maintaining a ratio of equivalents of epoxy groups of component a) with respect to amine groups of component b) from 1: 1 to 1: 6, preferably from 1: 1 to 1: 5, and by adding acid, at the latest after end of the reaction, until the reaction mixture has, after adding water, a pH of 2 to 8.
