Procedure for obtaining quinazoline derivatives, of formula Id, **(See formula)** where R'''means a hydrogen, fluorine, chlorine or bromine atom, an alkyl radical of 1 to 5 carbon atoms, an alkoxy radical of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, an alkylthio radical of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, or a nitro or trifluoromethyl group, n is 1 or 2, provided that when n is 2, each of the radicals R''', which may be the same or different, means a hydrogen, fluorine, or chlorine atom or bromine, an alkyl radical of 1 to 5 carbon atoms, or an alkoxy radical of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, R1 means an alkyl radical, of 1 to 5 carbon atoms, or an allyl or propargyl radical, R2 means a phenyl radical or a substituted phenyl radical of the formula **(See formula)** where Y means a fluorine, chlorine or bromine atom, an alkyl radical of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, an alkoxy radical of 1 to 4 carbon atoms or a trifluoromethyl group, and Y1 means a hydrogen, fluorine, chlorine atom or bromine, an alkyl radical of 1 to 4 carbon atoms or an alkoxy radical of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, characterized in that a compound of formula V is hydrolyzed at a temperature of 10º to 150ºC, **(See formula)** where R''', R1, R2 and n have the meanings indicated above, preferably with an alkali metal hydroxide, conveniently at a temperature of 80º to 120ºC, and preferably in a solvent medium comprising water and a non-mixable organic solvent with water that is inert under the reaction conditions.
