Abstract

Novel compounds I in which R is phenyl optionally substituted by one or two of the radicals 1-3 C alkyl or 1-3 C alkoxy or by halo or is 3-pyridyl optionally containing a methyl substituent and their acid addition salts are prepared by reaction of RNCO with 2-amino-tropane. Pharmaceutical compositions comprise a compound I together with a suitable carrier, are administered orally or rectally and have antiinflammatory, anti - oedema, anti - exudative, antipyretic and analgesic activity.
