Abstract

An opening 5 in the shaft wall of a flock feeder shaft has disposed thereover a comb device consisting of a series of needles 6 extending from a mounting member 7, the comb device being adjustable parallel to the needles to altar the area of the opening covered by the comb. The member 7 carries a screw 8 at each side which is movable in one of a pair of vertical slots 9 formed in opposite faces of a slide 10 secured to the shaft 2. The shaft is one of a plurality of similar shafts fed pneumatically from pipeline 1
