Abstract

Apparatus for producing corrugated cardboard sheets 1 (Fig. 2) lined with printed sheets 2 comprises a conveyer cylinder 15 (Fig. 3) for feeding the printed sheets 13 one by one, the cylinder 15 having grippers 14 for gripping each sheet in a predetermined position, a cutting tool 19 which occupies a definite position in relation to the grippers 14, a gluing roller 17, a conveyer belt 10 for bringing corrugated cardboard sheets 7 one by one into contact with each glued printed sheet, and means, e.g. a cam, for operating the cutting tool to cut out the portion of the cardboard sheet near its edge in a predetermined position, as at 5, 6 (Fig. 2), in relation to the printed sheet. The cuts are made so that the sheet may be accurately registered against the stops 3 and 4.
