Abstract

Junta de protección contra la intemperie, con sección transversal en forma de U adaptada para su montaje en un reborde, caracterizado porque incluye:un elemento de cuerpo con sección transversal en forma de U provisto de superficies adyacentes a un reborde o que pueden acoplarse con él cuando la junta de protección contra la intemperie está ensamblada con él; y una capa de material elastomérico sujeto por lo menos en una parte de dichas superficies de dicho elemento de cuerpo, siendo dicha capa blanda, salida y pegajosa en una gama de temperatura comprendida entre por lo menos -34ºC y 260ºC, con lo cual dicho material elastomérico pegajoso se adhiere al reborde y mejora mucho la fuerza de retención entre el reborde y la junta de protección contra la intemperie cuando esta última esté ensamblada con un reborde, e impide además el paso del agua alrededor del reborde.
