Abstract
Un neumático radial para vehículos de turismo, que tiene una banda de rodadura que se aplica al suelo que incluye un par de bordes de banda de rodadura, caracterizado porque dicha banda de rodadura tiene una primera pluralidad de gargantas principales espaciadas circunferencialmente al neumático, en una distancia igual a desde un dos a un tres por ciento de la circunferencia de la superficie exterior de dicha banda de rodadura tomada en el plano central que pasa por la circunferencia media del neumático, teniendo dicha banda de rodadura una segunda pluralidad de gargantas principales que siguen sustancialmente el mismo trayecto que dicha primera pluralidad de gargantas principales, excepto en que dicha segunda pluralidad de gargantas principales son una imagen simétrica especular de dicha primera pluralidad de gargantas principales, siguiendo generalmente el trayecto de cada una de dichas gargantas principales, una curva de tercer orden, estando espaciada circunferencialmente el neumático cada una de dicha segunda pluralidad de gargantas principales, en una distancia igual a desde un dos a un tres por ciento de la circunferencia de la superficie exterior de dicha banda de rodadura tomada en el plano central que pasa por la circunferencia media del neumático, extendiéndose cada una de dichas primera y segunda pluralidades de gargantas principales de modo continuo desde la línea central circunferencial de la banda de rodadura axialmente hacia afuera a dichos bordes de la banda de rodadura, estando dicha primera pluralidad de gargantas principales desplazada circunferencialmente de dicha segunda pluralidad de gargantas principales en dicho plano central que pasa por la circunferencia media, en una distancia igual a desde un 25 a un 50 por ciento de la distancia en que dicha primera pluralidad de gargantas principales, están espaciadas circunferencialmente al neumático, formando cada una de dichas gargantas principales con dicho plano central que pasa por la circunferencia media,en dicho plano central que pasa por la circunferencia media, un ángulo de 20 a 40 grados.
