Abstract

Indicador de nivel de gasolina para motocicletas, caracterizado por hallarse constituido por un elemento cilíndrico hueco, provisto de una tapa roscada, asimismo hueca, de la que emergen lateralmente dos tubos diametralmente alineados, provistos de regruesamientos periféricos para facilitar la fijación de dos trozos en que se ha dividido previamente el tubo que lleva la gasolina al carburador, gasolina que debido a dicha conformación pasa por el interior de la tapa y presiona contra una membrana elástica que la cierra inferiormente, membrana que apoya contra un estrecho cilindro, en contacto con el otro extremo con una lámina conductora que se halla constantemente solicitada hacia arriba por la existencia de un muelle de compresión, cuya fuerza se regula mediante un tornillo situado en la parte baja del indicador, de forma tal que, curado el nivel de gasolina existente es menor al previamente establecido, la fuerza del muelle supera la presión de la gasolina y obliga a la lámina conductoraa hacer contacto contra sendos bornes eléctricos que se introducen en el interior del indicador por uno de sus extremos, mientras que por el otro se hallan fijados a conductores eléctricos unidos en su extremo con una luz piloto situada próxima al manillar, que al encenderse señala la necesidad de volver a llenar el depósito del vehículo.
