Abstract

Un freno de disco, del tipo de agarre con pinza y de uso en especial en los vehículos automóviles, el cual tiene un soporte de freno que es fijado al eje del vehículo y una pinza de freno que está guiada en el miembro soporte de freno por unos vástagos, presurizando dicha pinza de freno a las zapatas de freno situadas a uno y otro lado del disco de freno por la acción de un pistón que hay una cámara de cilindro, apoyándose la zapata de freno del lado del pistón directamente en el miembro soporte de freno, a través de unos brazos de retención mientras que la zapata de freno del lado opuesto a dicho pistón se apoya en la piña de freno, caracterizado porque en la marcha hacia adelante, del vehículo, el brazo de retención que se dispone en la dirección tangencial a la rotación del disco, a la salida de éste, está dimensionado en su sección transversal de tal modo que la deformación elástica que durante el frenado se produce en dicho brazo de retención en la dirección tangencial del disco de freno sea igual o menor que el juego que se tiene entre el pistón y la cámara de cilindro.
