Abstract

Pantograph-type isolator having two contact spars (30, 32), which can be moved towards one another in the form of a pantograph and which take at least one elongated counter contact member (36) between them in the closed condition, contact strips (54, 56) extending parallel to the contact spars being attached to the contact spars with interposition of holding springs (38, 40), characterized in that the holding springs (38, 40) are constructed to be approximately C-shaped and the web (44) of each C-shaped holding spring is mounted on the associated contact spar (30, 32) and one contact strip (54, 56) each is mounted on the outside face of each of the two legs (50, 52) of the holding spring extending parallel to the web.
