Abstract
Un cable óptico mejorado compuesto de un elemento central alrededor del cual hay trenzada por lo menos una guía de ondas óptica con un recubrimiento primario y uno secundario y teniendo este cable además una, cubierta de cable, caracterizado porque el núcleo (1, 2, 3) está rodeado, con una cierta separación, de un tubo soporte flexible formado por al menos una lámina resistente a las altas temperaturas (4, 5) arrollada con sus bordes solapados y porque la cubierta de cable (8) está provista de unos elementos resistentes a la tracción y que rodean a dicho tubo soporte.
