Abstract

Un dispositivo de ajuste de los forros de freno de uso en los frenos de fricción y, en particular, en los frenos de tambor de los vehículos automóviles, en el que el ajuste tiene lugar automáticamente dependiendo del desgaste del forro, en el que entre los soportes de pastillas (4 y 5) hay insertado un tirante (8) el cual por uno de sus lados esta sujetado elásticamente a uno de los soportes de pastillas (5) y por el otro lado esta sujetada con juego (s) al otro soporte de pastillas (4) y en el que se tiene una leva de ajuste (13) que puede girar accionada por dicho tirante (3) la cual está sometida a la acción de un muelle tensor 16 y con la que se hace que varíe la longitud activa de este tirante (8), caracterizado porque la leva de ajuste (13) está montada en un pasador (14) que puede ser desplazado en un orificio oblongo (15) que hay en el soporte de pastillas (4) que se extiende paralelamente al eje longitudinal del tirante (3) y teniendo dicho pasador, del lado de la palanca soporte de freno (24), una prolongación (23) y habiendo en la placa soporte de freno (24), en la zona en que se encuentra dicha prolongación (23) del pasador (14), una abertura (25) por la que puede pasarse el extremo de una palanca (26) con la que se actúe sobre esta prolongación (23) del pasador.
