Abstract

In order to obviate unintended operation of a sensor (e.g. switch) 2 located on a surface 9 of circular cross- section a structural element 3 having a radial opening 4, which is of a shape and size which permits operation of sensor 2 e.g. by a thumb of a person holding the appliance, is provided. Operation of sensor 2 is only possible when radial opening 4 lies over sensor 2 and is not possible when structural element 3 is rotated so as to cover the sensor 2.
