Abstract

Cubierta radial de neumático de servicio pesado, que tiene una carcasa consistente en al menos una capa de hilos, que está dispuesta en el plano radial substancial de la cubierta, estando rodeada la periferia exterior de dicha carcasa por un cinturón que consiste en al menos dos capas de hilos metálicos, cuyos hilos están inclinados en un ángulo relativamente pequeño respecto del plano ecuatorial de la cubierta y se cruzan, para refuerzo rígido justo por debajo de la banda de rodadura y para formar una parte de corona reforzada; y partes de talón reforzadas en ambos extremos de la carcasa, estando formada cada una de dichas partes reforzadas de talón volviendo hacia arriba la parte terminal de las de carcasa alrededor del núcleo del talón desde el interior al exterior conjuntamente con material de caucho dispuesto entre el núcleo del talón y las capas de la carcasa; y estando montadas dichas partes de talón sobre una llanta que tiene una pestaña que se eleva substancialmente perpendicular al eje de rotación de la cubierta.
