Abstract
Un sistema de aire acondicionado (10) que tiene un modo de enfriamiento (12) y un modo de enfriamiento libre (14), que comprende: un circuito de refrigeración (20) que tiene un dispositivo de expansión (26), un compresor (30) y una bomba (24); un sensor de presión de succión (49) para medir una presión de succión de dicho compresor; un controlador (16) para funcionar de forma selectiva en el modo de enfriamiento al circular y comprimir un refrigerante a través de dicho circuito de refrigeración mediante dicho compresor u funcionar en el modo de enfriamiento libre haciendo circular dicho refrigerante a través de dicho circuito de refrigeración mediante dicha bomba; y una secuencia de recuperación de refrigerante (18) residente en dicho controlador, dicha secuencia de recuperación de refrigerante está configurada para recuperar el refrigerante en una parte de dicho circuito de refrigeración no usado en el modo de enfriamiento libre para las partes restantes de dicho circuito de refrigeración usado en el modo de enfriamiento libre cuando dicho controlador cambia desde el modo de enfriamiento al modo de enfriamiento libre, caracterizado por: un sensor de presión de descarga (51) para medir una presión de descarga de dicho compresor; y una válvula de tres vías (36-3); donde dicha secuencia de recuperación de refrigerante está configurada para: cerrar el dispositivo de expansión; ajustar una alineación de la válvula de tres vías de forma de que dicho refrigerante se recupera de la parte del circuito de refrigeración no usada durante el modo de enfriamiento libre; activar el compresor hasta que una presión de succión de dicho compresor iguale un umbral de presión de succión; y mantener dicho dispositivo de expansión en una posición predeterminada hasta que un diferencial de presión en dicho compresor alcanza un umbral de diferencial de presión.
