Abstract

Un dispositivo (20) de acoplamiento giratorio, que comprende: un cubo (22) configurado para el acoplamiento a un árbol para la rotación con dicho árbol alrededor de un eje (60) de rotación; un rotor (26) soportado sobre dicho cubo (22) y configurado para girar con respecto a dicho cubo alrededor de dicho eje (60) de rotación, definiendo dicho rotor (26) una pared (106) que se extiende radialmente; una armadura (30) soportada sobre dicho cubo (22) para girar con la misma, dicha armadura (30) axialmente separada de dicha pared (106) que se extiende radialmente de dicho rotor (26) una primera placa (36) de embrague dispuesta axialmente entre dicha pared (106) que se extiende axialmente de dicho rotor (26) y dicha armadura (30), dicha primera placa (36) de embrague acoplada a dicho cubo (22) para girar con la misma, pero que se puede mover axialmente con respecto a dicho cubo; una segunda placa (34) de embrague dispuesta axialmente entre dicha pared (106) que se extiende radialmente de dicho rotor (26) y dicha armadura (30), dicha segunda placa (34) de embrague acoplada a dicho rotor (26) para girar con la misma, pero que se puede mover axialmente con respecto a dicho rotor; y, una tercera placa (38, 40) de embrague dispuesta axialmente entre dicha pared (106) que se extiende radialmente de dicho rotor (26) y dicha armadura (30), dicha tercera placa (38, 40) de embrague acoplada a uno de dicho cubo (22) y dicho rotor (26) para girar con el mismo, pero que se puede mover axialmente con respecto a dicho uno de dicho cubo (22) y dicho rotor (26); una carcasa (48) de campo dispuesta alrededor de dicho cubo (22) y dicho eje (60) de rotación en un lado opuesto de dicha pared (106) que se extiende radialmente de dicho rotor (26) desde dicha armadura (30), dicha carcasa (48) de campo que aloja un conductor (50) en el mismo; en donde dicha armadura (30) y dichas primera, segunda y tercera placas (36, 34, 38, 40) de embrague están configuradas para moverse en una primera dirección axial hacia dicha pared (106) que se extiende radialmente de dicho rotor (26) tras la energización de dicho conductor (50) para provocar el acoplamiento por fricción de dichas primera, segunda y tercera placas (36, 34, 38, 40) de embrague y acoplar dicho rotor (26) a dicho cubo (22) para girar con las mismas y están configuradas para el movimiento en una segunda dirección axial opuesta a dicha primera dirección axial con la desenergización subsecuente de dicho conductor (50), caracterizado por dicho uno de dicho cubo (22) y dicho rotor (26) incluyendo primeros medios (90, 156), dispuestos entre uno correspondiente de dichas primera y segunda placas (36, 34) de embrague y dicha tercera placa (38, 40) de embrague, para limitar el movimiento de dicha una correspondiente de dichas primera y segunda placas (36, 34) de embrague en dicha segunda dirección axial, dichos primeros medios (90, 156) limitantes no oponen movimiento de dicho uno correspondiente de dichas primera y segunda placas (36, 34) de embrague y dicha tercera placa (38, 40) de embrague en dicha primera dirección axial.
