Bag that can be closed again and manufacturing method of said bag.

The present invention relates to an opening / closing bag for the packaging of products, mainly foodstuffs and a method of manufacturing said bag.

It refers more particularly to a bag of the type comprising a body delimiting a storage enclosure, made from a sheet material, a label that can be completely separated from the bag when pulled and disposed, before its separation from the bag, at least partially covered and coinciding with a tearing principle that forms, at least in the body, a closed line to cause the body to tear from the label, forming an opening through which it can be extracted The contents of the bag.

Bags of the aforementioned hermetically sealed type and whose opening is obtained by pulling a label are well known to those skilled in this art, as illustrated by US Patent No. 5,855,435, which describes a bag in accordance with the preamble of claim 1. However, such a bag does not allow, including the case of a new closure by folding, the obtaining of a hermetic closure. In addition, the label is necessarily an adhesive label.

In US document 2011/0147401, the label must be placed back in the opening to allow the bag to be closed again. With such a solution, it is necessary to keep the label at the time of emptying the bag, otherwise, it closes again in the bag. In case of total removal of the tag, to close the bag again, it is difficult to reposition the tag just above the opening area, mainly in the case of a long tag. In summary, the manufacture of such a package is complex and it is not possible to close again by folding.

An objective of the present invention is therefore to offer a bag of the type mentioned above, the design of which allows for an almost hermetic closing of the opening again in terms of ergonomics and intuitive use.

Another objective of the present invention is to offer a bag of the aforementioned type whose design allows a near-hermetic closure of said opening, mainly by folding, without impairing the ease of manufacture of the bag.

Another objective of the present invention is to offer a bag of the type mentioned above whose design allows an adaptation of the volume of the bag to the volume of the contents of said bag, as the bag is emptied, without damaging the quality of the closure.

Another objective of the present invention is to offer a bag of the type mentioned above whose design allows adaptation to any type of bag.

To this end, the object of the invention is a bag according to claim 1. This adhesive zone allows an almost hermetically sealed closure of said opening by folding. This again almost hermetic seal is obtained whatever the dimension chosen for said opening.

Thanks to this design, the interface can be presented in the form of a solid piece and not in the form of a frame, which allows an easy, fast and simultaneous placement on the march of the label and the interface in the body of the bag at the time of manufacturing the bag.

Thanks to the presence of the interface and the design of the tear-off principle, a non-adhesive label can be used, which makes it easier to manufacture the bag and reduce the weight of the bag.

The nature of the adhesive that can be fixed again, that is to say, that it can be used again and the weak adhesion of the face of the upper part of the interface allows to multiply the opening / closing operations, maintaining a good quality of adhesion.

Thanks to the fact that the interface extends partially beyond the area or outside the perimeter delimited by the closed line, formed by the breaking principle, it results, after opening, the presence of an adhesive zone around the entire opening.

Preferably, the interface is formed by a piece such as a double-sided adhesive tape.

Preferably, the label is a non-adhesive label. The label is attached to the rest of the bag at least by means of the adhesive provided with the adhesive zone.

In the presence of the interface, the label, which can be completely separated from the bag when pulled, is fixed to the bag, before pulling, by the adhesive side of the upper part of the interface. The label is attached to the rest of the bag in fact only by means of the adhesive provided with the face of the upper part of the interface.

Preferably, the tag is presented in the separate state of the bag, in the form of a ribbon.

The label, in the separated state of the bag, is associated with the shed, formed by the parts of the body of the bag and the interface arranged inside the closed line that constitutes the principle of rupture before the opening of the bag , and dragged by the label, at the time of opening the bag, when pulling the label.

Preferably, the label has, in the state attached to the bag, a non-adhesive grip tab. This tab facilitates the operation of separating the tag from the bag when pulling.

Preferably, the label, before pulling, covers the entire adhesive zone and, in particular, the entire interface when present. The adhesive zone of the interface is thus perfectly protected, before the first opening of the bag.

Preferably, the body of the bag is shaped to form a quadrangular bag and comprises two opposite side walls joined at the level of its transverse edges, preferably by welding, and the closed line is disposed between the two transverse edges of a side wall and is it assigns a generally rectangular shape with the longitudinal edges of the rectangle which preferably extend almost parallel to the transverse edges of the side wall.

This configuration of the bag facilitates a closing of the opening of the bag again by folding the parts of the bag against each other, one of said parts comprising the adhesive area surrounding the opening.

In fact, preferably, the closing of the opening again is a closing again by folding, said folding being formed by a part of the body of the bag. Preferably, the adhesive that can be reattached from the adhesive zone is selected from acrylic adhesives and rubber-based adhesives. An adhesive of this type that can be reattached is well known to those skilled in the art and makes it possible to multiply the bonding and peeling operations with the aid of said adhesive.

As mentioned above, the bag 1, object of the invention, is a flexible bag comprising a body 2 for the delimitation of a product storage enclosure, such as food products. This storage enclosure is, before opening the bag, preferably tightly closed.

The body 2 is made from a sheet material, such as a polyolefin film, for example, a polyethylene film or a polypropylene film or a polyester film or a complex of these films.

In the example shown, the body of the bag is shaped to form a quadrangular bag and comprises two opposite side walls 21 joined at the level of its transverse edges 22 by welding. This meeting can be carried out, for example, by simple welding, as well as by a bellows and welding or gluing to form a self-supporting bag.

Of course, other embodiments of the bag can be considered without departing from the scope of the invention.

In the example shown, the bag further comprises an interface 3 permanently adhered on its face 4 from the bottom to the outer face of the body 2 of the bag. This interface 3 can be realized in the form of a solid, adhesive, double-sided piece with the face 5 of the upper part of the interface, opposite to the face 4 of the lower part of the interface, provided with an adhesive 51 which it can be fixed again formed here by an acrylic adhesive and the face 4 of the lower part provided with an adhesive 41 called permanent to avoid a detachment of the interface of the body 2 of the bag.

This interface 3 is formed by a double-sided adhesive tape.

The bag further comprises a tag 9 that can be separated. Preferably, this label 9 is made of material that can be printed. This tag 9 is arranged coinciding with a breaking principle that forms a closed line 6 in the interface 3 and the body 2 to cause, when pulling the tag 9, a tear of the interface 3 and the body 2 forming an opening 7 of emptying of the bag 1. By closed line, a line is understood that surrounds a space to delimit it in order to define the contour of the opening to be made. This line can be a continuous line or a dashed line, such as a dotted line.

This tag 9 can, when pulled, be completely separated from the bag.

Before pulling, this label 9, which is a non-self-adhesive label, is attached to the bag 1 by the face of the upper adherent part of the interface 3, thanks to the presence of the adhesive 51 on said face 5 of the upper part of the the interface. To facilitate pulling, this tag, which is in the form of a tape, is provided, at one end of the tape, with a non-adhesive grip tab 10 extending beyond the interface 3, to be easily grasped. Before pulling, tag 9 covers the entire interface 3.

In the example shown, the closed line 6 is disposed between the two transverse edges 22 of a side wall 21 of the body of the bag and has a generally rectangular shape with the longitudinal edges of the rectangle extending almost parallel to the transverse edges 22 of the side wall 21.

Similarly, the label and the interface, which are assigned to each one the shape of a tape, are placed with their longitudinal edges extending parallel to the transverse edges of the body 2 of the bag.

The interface 3 extends partially beyond the area or outside the perimeter delimited by the closed line 6, formed by the breaking principle. Therefore, in the separate state of the tag 9 of the bag 1, the part of the interface 3 not removed with the tag forms an adhesive zone 8 surrounding the opening 7 and capable of allowing a closure of the opening 7 again as illustrated in figure 3 where a closure again of the opening 7 is a closure by folding.

Therefore, in the closed state again of the opening 7, the body 2 of the bag is bent with a first part 23 of the body 2 of the bag provided with the adhesive zone 8 which extends from one side of the zone 25 , in this case, the bending line, this first part 23 being of the body 2 of the bag, by means of the adhesive zone 8, kept in contact against the part 24 of the body of the bag disposed on the other side of the zone 25 of bent.

In the example shown, the first part 23 of the body 2 of the bag provided with the adhesive zone 8 forms the lower part of the bag and the second part of the body 2 of the bag folded against the first part of the bag forms the upper part of the bag.

Of course, one could have imagined a solution in which the second part of the body of the bag is provided with the adhesive zone.

The opening and closing of the bag again as described above is carried out as follows: to allow the bag to open, the operator holds the tag's grip tab and pulls the tag, which separates from the bag taking with it the parts of the interface and the body of the bag arranged inside the perimeter delimited by line 6 closed.

Once the label of the bag is completely separated as illustrated in Figure 2, the bag can be emptied using the opening 7 formed in the area previously occupied by the interface and body parts of the bag that have been dragged.

The adhesive zone formed around the opening by the remaining part of the interface, is as far as it is discovered.

Once the partial emptying of the bag is completed, it is sufficient to fold the bag again to put the two parts of the bag, one of which is provided with the adhesive zone, in contact with each other. These parts remain adhered to each other thanks to the presence of the adhesive in the adhesive zone which, in cooperation with the opposite part of the bag, also ensures an almost airtight closure of the opening.

The opening again is done simply by taking off the two parts of the bag placed against each other.

For the manufacture of such a bag, one generally proceeds as follows: first, the interface 3 is presented which is presented in the form of a solid, adhesive, double-sided piece and the label 9, which is preferably not adhesive, on the outer face of body 2 of the bag. Fixing is done by gluing with the help of interface stickers.

5 This placement stage is followed by a cutting stage, during which the interface 3 and the body 2 are cut simultaneously from the inner face of the body of the bag to form, coinciding with the label 9, on the interface 3 and the body 2, a breaking principle that forms a closed line 6, beyond which the interface 3 partially extends, whose face 5 of the adhesive upper part is provided with a low adhesion adhesive 51 that can be used again and whose face 4 of the lower part is permanently attached to said body 2.

The manufacture of such a bag provided with a re-opening opening is, therefore, extremely simple. The embodiment of the interface in the form of a tape allows a withdrawal on the fly without requiring high placement accuracy.
