Abstract
Un método de restauración de una zona de vertedero (12) que comprende cubrir la superficie de la zona de vertedero (12) con una capa sustancialmente ininterrumpida de una composición que incluye cenizas volantes pulverizadas mezcladas con cal viva, creando la capa una solera puzolánica (14), perforar la solera puzolánica (14) para extraer gas metano de dicha zona de vertedero (12), y disponer al menos un horizonte de suelo (16) sobre la solera puzolánica (14), caracterizado por que antes de cubrir la superficie de la zona de vertedero (12), se nivela la superficie de la zona de vertedero (12) en una o más pendientes para inclinar la solera puzolánica (14) resultante, y pirolizar la biomasa usando dicho gas metano extraído de dicha zona de vertedero (12) para producir biocarbón, y formar parte de al menos un horizonte de suelo (16) a partir de dicha biocarbón.
