Abstract
Método de funcionamiento de un motor de combustión interna (2) provisto de al menos una cámara de precombustión (1) barrida, en el que la o las cámaras de precombustión (1) están conectadas con una cámara de combustión principal (3) del motor de combustión interna (2) y - durante una fase de compresión inmediatamente precedente al encendido en la cámara de combustión principal (3) -, una vez producido el encendido en la cámara de precombustión (1), en una primera fase de transferencia (4) se transfiere gas desde la cámara de precombustión (1) a la cámara de combustión principal (3), introduciéndose durante la fase de compresión un medio (M) incompresible al menos bifásico - preferiblemente agua - en la cámara de precombustión (1), introduciéndose el medio (M) después de la primera fase de transferencia (4), y estando conectada la cámara de precombustión (1) con la cámara de combustión principal (3) a través de un canal de transferencia (8), caracterizado por que el medio (M) se introduce a través de al menos un canal de inyección (9) que desemboca en el canal de transferencia (8).
