Abstract
Un método para modular el crecimiento de malezas monocotiledóneas, dicotiledóneas y de juncia en sistemas para crecimiento de arroz, que comprende aplicar al suelo en dicho sistema para crecimiento de arroz una cantidad de taxtomina eficaz para modular el crecimiento de dichas malezas.
Description
Parece que el extracto proveniente de un cultivo bacteriano de S. acidiscabies mostró buena eficacia (> 70 %) contra tres de las especies de maleza más comunes en los campos de arroz en California. A esta concentración de extracto, la eficacia contra pasto morado (Leptochloa uninervia) no fue satisfactoria. El efecto herbicida del extracto que contiene taxtomina fue menor sobre tallo rojo que sobre cualesquiera otras malezas probadas en este estudio.
