Abstract

Un acoplador de engrase mejorado (3) para conectar un suministro de engrase a presión a una boquilla de engrase de tipo Zerk (16), comprendiendo el acoplador un cuerpo alargado (10) que define un paso (11) a través de la longitud completa del mismo; incluyendo el extremo trasero del cuerpo un puerto de entrada roscado (12) e incluyendo la sección de descarga frontal del cuerpo medios de sujeción montados radialmente alrededor del extremo de descarga del cuerpo alargado y configurado para acoplar el acoplador a una boquilla de engrase de tipo Zerk (16), comprendiendo los medios de sujeción una pluralidad de elementos de sujeción independientes (17) ubicados radialmente alrededor del extremo de descarga del cuerpo alargado, siendo los medios de sujeción manualmente activables para retener la boquilla en acoplamiento activo bajo condiciones de presión y facilitar el desacoplamiento intencional de la boquilla por un usuario tanto en situaciones a presión como sin presión caracterizado porque los elementos de sujeción comprenden segmentos de un cono entre extremos doblados, estando los extremos traseros ubicados en una ranura de retención radial (18) alrededor del cuerpo alargado y extendiéndose los dobleces frontales sobre el extremo de descarga del cuerpo para definir una abertura (19) para la recepción de la cabeza de una boquilla de engrase (16), siendo el tamaño de la abertura variable manualmente por el movimiento de un miembro de manguito (33) deslizable sobre el cuerpo del miembro alargado, desde una primera posición en la cual los elementos de sujeción están comprimidos para minimizar el tamaño de la abertura y una segunda posición en la cual el tamaño de la abertura es suficiente para permitir la recepción de la boquilla.
