Abstract
Proceso para calentar una corriente que contiene un polímero que se transfiere desde un reactor de polimerización a un contenedor de desgasificación que opera a una presión entre 6 bara y 12 bara, que comprende pasar la corriente a través de un calentador que comprende una línea de transferencia para la corriente y medios para calentar la línea de transferencia, en donde la caída de presión en el calentador está entre 5% y 50%, preferiblemente entre 10 y 35%, de la caída de presión total entre el reactor de polimerización y la entrada al contenedor de desgasificación, la caída de presión a través de la longitud del calentador es menor de 0.5 barh por tonelada de polímero, y el número promedio Reynolds a través de la sección transversal de la corriente en cualquier punto a lo largo de la longitud de la línea de transferencia del calentador es mayor que 500000, de tal manera que al menos 90% mol de la extracción de fluidos de hidrocarburos de la operación del reactor de polimerización son vaporizados antes de la entrada al contenedor de desgasificación.
