Abstract
Pasta cerámica atenuante de la radiación. La presente invención se refiere a una pasta cerámica que comprende al menos una frita con un elemento atenuante de la radiación seleccionada de entre frita de plomo, bario, bismuto o mezclas de las mismas, al uso de la misma para la preparación de piezas cerámicas atenuantes de la radiación, al procedimiento de obtención de la pasta cerámica y la pieza cerámica obtenida.
Description
Se prepararon distintas pastas mezclando los componentes de la pasta según se indica en la tabla 1, utilizando para ello las fritas obtenidas en el ejemplo 1. Una vez mezclados los componentes se procedió a la molturación vía húmeda en un molino de bolas hasta llegar a un residuo menor al 10% en un tamiz de 63 micras y posterior atomización con una humedad residual de entre 3-9%.
Una vez obtenida la pasta cerámica, se procedió con el prensado de la masa con una presión específica de entre 150-300 g/cm3 y con una densidad aparente en crudo de entre 2.4-2.7 g/cm3. Posteriormente se llevó a secado en secadero hasta alcanzar una humedad menor al 1%.
Una vez obtenidas las piezas cerámicas pueden ser esmaltadas y decoradas mediante
procedimientos estándar. Las piezas cerámicas desarrolladas fueron destinadas al recubrimiento de paredes y/o de suelos.
Una vez preparada la pasta cerámica se midieron los siguientes parámetros de proceso que fueron los siguientes: Índice de plasticidad: 20-40 Defloculación: Contenido en solidos >65% / Defloculante <1% Dap en seco (g/cm3) para P=300 kg/cm2 y H=5,5% : >1,85 Baja Expansión Post-Prensado: <0,6% Baja contracción de secado: <0,2% Alta resistencia mecánica en seco: >30 kg/cm2 Baja contracción por cocción: < 1,5% Baja expansión por humedad: <0,06% Temp. de Cocción: 1050 -1150 °C Materia Orgánica < 0,3%
Sulfatos solubles < 0,2% Además se comprobó el efecto de apantallamiento de las piezas cerámicas obtenidas medidas para una energía de radiación de 80KeV, dando los siguientes resultados:
