Abstract

Description

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

The purpose of this application is to register a closure for a truck and container box that incorporates notable innovations and advantages.

More specifically, the invention proposes the development of an additional closing mechanism provided for truck boxes and containers of the type comprising two swivel bars separated from each other and arranged vertically that are part of a two-door closing system present at the mouth of entrance or loading of the box or container, each rotating bar being linked to a corresponding door, so that even if the vertical bars are pivoted, the opening of the doors in an undesired way is prevented.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Usually, truck boxes intended for the transport of goods comprise an elongated body provided with two rear access doors. For opening and closing, each of the doors has a bar that runs along the entire door, that is, from the upper end to the lower end thereof, being able to pivot and ending at one or both ends. upper and lower by means of a plug-in hook termination in a corresponding housing.

The problem that exists with robbery attempts by criminals is well known, so that closing systems are known in the state of the art, based on the incorporation of a larger number of locks, or devices specially designed for each vehicle This last aspect presents the main drawback due to the existence of several manufacturers of boxes or containers, the manufacturer of anti-theft systems must design a variety of systems of the same type to adapt to each dimension of the box, so it implies having a greater number of tools for the manufacture of the same anti-theft device, so the costs become more expensive.

In addition, the applicant is not currently aware of an invention that has all the features described herein.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The present invention has been developed in order to provide a closure system that is configured as a novelty within the field of application and resolves the aforementioned drawbacks, also providing other additional advantages that will be apparent from the description that is accompanies next.

It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a closure for a box of trucks and containers of the type comprising two swivel bars separated from each other and arranged vertically that form part of a two-door closure system present at the inlet or load of the box or container, each rotating bar being linked to a corresponding door.

More particularly, the closure is essentially characterized by being constituted by two tubular side pieces provided with windows located at one of the ends of the side piece, each of the windows being linked with a corresponding vertical axis, and a tubular centerpiece available between the two side pieces that in a mounted position is aligned linearly with the two side pieces, in which each of the side pieces houses inside a sliding slide capable of sliding along the inside of the side piece after its actuation by means of an actuator means.

In this way, in a system blocking condition in which the vertical rotating bars pass through an upper or lower face of a respective window, at least one of the locking slides is displaced in an end-of-travel position that covers the front face of the window of a side piece and being partially housed inside the center piece.

Thanks to these characteristics, an anti-theft closure is obtained that can be arranged interchangeably on the top or bottom of a truck or container box and can also be installed independently of the dimensions of the box or container without the need to design a variety of parts with different lengths depending on the

box dimensions. The fact that the side pieces are constituted by tubular profiles allow to dispose inside the rest of the mechanical elements that are part of the closure, so that the use of additional space to house such mechanical elements is avoided and their manipulation by people is avoided Unauthorized

In a preferred embodiment of the closure of the invention, the actuator means comprises an electrically driven piston, although alternatively such actuator means can comprise a pneumatically actuated piston.

Also preferably, the side piece has a profile with a substantially "C" shaped cross section.

Advantageously, each of the side pieces has at least one reinforcement section that is at one end connected to the upper face and at the opposite end to the lower face, the reinforcement section including a through hole.

In a preferred embodiment, the centerpiece also has a substantially "e" shaped cross section.

According to another aspect of the invention, the actuator means is connected to a control unit having wireless communication means provided to receive a radio signal from a remote actuator, such that the user or driver of the truck can manage, for example, from the cabin itself, the actuation of the closure to lock or unlock the doors of the truck or container box.

DESCRIPTION OF A PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

In view of the aforementioned figures and, according to the numbering adopted, an example of a preferred embodiment of the invention can be observed therein, which comprises the parts and elements indicated and described in detail below.

Thus, as can be seen in the various figures, a closure for conventional truck and container boxes is shown, of the type comprising two swivel bars separated from each other and arranged vertically that form part of a two-door closing system present in the mouth of entry or loading of the box or container, each rotating bar being linked to a corresponding door.

As can be seen in Figures 1 and 2, said closure comprises two tubular side pieces (1) consisting of an elongated profile (10) provided with windows (11) located at one end of the side piece, each being of the vincu ladas windows

(11) with a corresponding vertical axis. Such window (11) is defined by a linear extension (12) that extends longitudinally. In an assembled condition of the closure, such side pieces (1) are axially aligned with each other and are identical to each other.

In addition, the closure is provided with a tubular centerpiece (2) available between the two side pieces (1) mentioned above which in a position mounted on the container or box, is linearly aligned with the two side pieces (1).

Returning again to each of the side pieces (1) inside it houses a locking slide (3) capable of sliding longitudinally along the inside of the side piece (1) after its actuation by an actuator means, such that in a system blocking condition in which the rotating bars pass through an upper or lower face of a respective window, where said blocking slides (3) are displaced in an end-of-travel position that cover the front face of the corresponding window (11) of a side piece (1) And being partially housed inside the center piece (2), so that the bar, being encapsulated prevents the door from opening.

With particular reference to the locking slide (3) and to figure 3, it comprises an e-shaped profiled part defining a central section (30) and two fins

(31) facing each other and perpendicular with respect to the central section (30), such that one of the fins comprises a grooved or smaller section (32) which, during operation, will allow the vertical bars (6) to pass through. They are part of the closing system of each of the doors, as shown in Figure 5 by a partial view of the back of a conventional transport box.

The actuator means may comprise an electrically operated piston (4) or a pneumatically actuated piston, the piston (4) being coupled to the locking slide (3) with the help of threaded nuts (5), although any expert in the matter, another joining system known in the state of the art could be applied.

Both the two side pieces (1) and the center piece (2) have a substantially "C" shaped cross section.

To provide greater rigidity to the side pieces (1), they have a plurality of reinforcement sections (13) defined by plates that are arranged longitudinally and separated from each other, which are each of them by an end attached to the face upper and at the opposite end to the lower face, each reinforcement section including a through hole (14) that allows the insertion of a fastener element (not shown) intended to be fixed in the truck body. In the same way, the central part (2) also has a reinforcement section (20) provided with a through hole (21) for the insertion of a fastener element.

Mention that the actuator means acting on the corresponding slide is connected to a control unit (not shown) that has wireless communication means provided to receive a radio signal from a remote actuator that can be manipulated by the driver himself of the vehicle or other authorized personnel.

The second preferred embodiment shown in Figure 2, where the same parts 5 have the same numerical reference, essentially differs in the position of the slotted section or of a smaller section (32) of the slide (3).

The details, shapes, dimensions and other accessory elements used in the manufacture of the closure of the invention may be conveniently substituted by others that do not depart from the scope defined by the claims included below.

A closure for a box of trucks and containers of the type comprising two rotating bars separated from each other and arranged vertically that form part of a two-door closing system present at the entrance or loading mouth of the box or container, each rotating bar being linked to a corresponding door, characterized in that it comprises two tubular side pieces (1) each provided with a window located at one end of the side piece (1), each of the windows (1) being 1) linked with a corresponding vertical axis, and a tubular centerpiece (2) arranged between the two lateral pieces (1) which in a mounted position is linearly aligned with the two lateral pieces (1), in which each of the side pieces houses inside a sliding slide (3) capable of sliding along the inside of the side piece (1) after its actuation by an actuator means, such that in a condition Locking system in which the rotating bars pass through an upper or lower face of a respective window (11), at least one of the blocking slides (3) is displaced in an end-of-travel position that covers the front face of the window (11) of a laleral piece (1) and partially housed inside the center piece (2).
