Abstract
Un convertidor de energía de ola (WEC) que comprende: Un flotador (1.1) destinado a yacer a lo largo de la superficie del cuerpo de agua y diseñado para moverse en fase con las olas presentes en el cuerpo de agua; Un elemento (1.10) similar a vigueta destinado a flotar en el cuerpo de agua, el elemento similar a vigueta tiende a moverse hacia arriba y hacia abajo en una dirección vertical en respuesta a las olas que pasan, generalmente fuera de fase con relación a las olas; Medios (1.7) de impedimento unidos al elemento similar a vigueta para incrementar la masa efectiva de la vigueta para estabilizar la vigueta, impidiendo su movimiento arriba/abajo, mientras que aún se le permite moverse, y originando que este descienda en agua calma; Un cilindro (1.5) unido al extremo superior del elemento similar a vigueta para moverse en tándem con el componente al cual este se une, dicho cilindro le posibilita al aire ser comprimido, dicho cilindro que esta generalmente incluido con al menos un puerto (1.11) de entrada para permitirle al aire atmosférico ser arrastrado hacia el cilindro y al menos un puerto (1.6) de salida para sacar el aire comprimido; y Un pistón (1.2) dentro del cilindro conectado rígidamente por vía de una barra (1.3) de pistón al flotador por medio del cual el pistón comprime el aire dentro del cilindro como una función del movimiento del flotador con relación al elemento similar a vigueta; en donde la porción interna del cilindro (1.5) por encima del pistón (1.2) se define como una cámara (1.8) superior y en donde la porción interior del cilindro por debajo del pistón se define como una cámara (1.9) inferior; caracterizada por que la posición en estado estable del cilindro con relación al pistón cambia como una función del movimiento de descenso de la vigueta en una dirección para disminuir el volumen de una de las dos cámaras mientras se incrementa el volumen de la otra cámara para posibilitar la carrera de compresión del pistón para ser automáticamente regulada.
Description
En la Figura 5, el generador turbo expansor y las unidades de acondicionamiento de energía están dispuestas costa afuera en una boya “madre” o en una plataforma costa afuera. La energía eléctrica se genera así costa afuera y es conducida por cable a una grilla de energía en tierra.
