Abstract
Un método de producir un cemento portiand altamente eficiente con obtención simultánea de alúmina como subproducto, caracterizado porque se somete a sinterización, en condiciones reductoras, a una temperatura de unos 1300º c, preferiblemente a una temperatura de 1250º C, materias primas de composición tal que permitan obtener un clinker que, mientras se está enfriando, experimenta una desintegración total a polvo con tamaños de grano hasta de 20 micrones, de los cuales, debido a la reducción realizada, se elimina una parte considerable del hierro en forma metálica, y, a partir del polvo activo, se elimina una parte de los compuestos de aluminio por extracción, y despues se mezcla con carbonato cálcico, por ejemplo con creta, se calcina nuevamente hasta dar cliker con elevado contenido de alita.
