Abstract

En una primera configuración típica, el módulo de láser se coloca en un alojamiento del sistema. En esta configuración, tanto la fuente de alimentación como el módulo de control y el módulo de láser están incluidos en el alojamiento del sistema, y se usa un sistema de suministro para suministrar energía electromagnética desde el alojamiento del sistema a un dispositivo de suministro. El conjunto 305 de pieza de mano reemplazable e intercambiable, el módulo 306 de láser, y la pieza 308 de mano facilitan la actualización económica del sistema 300 de láser. Por ejemplo, un nuevo módulo de láser puede reemplazar un defecto, un módulo de láser viejo, y este reemplazo no requiere del reemplazo de otros componentes del sistema 300.
La figura 4 representa un sistema 400 de láser de ejemplo para su uso con una silla 401 dental. En el sistema 400 de láser de ejemplo, están integrados una fuente de alimentación y un módulo de control dentro de una parte de la silla 401 dental. Un conjunto 406 de pieza de mano incluye un conector 410 de cable, unos módulos 412, 414, 416, 418 de láser intercambiables y unas piezas 420, 422, 424, 426 de mano intercambiables. El conector 410 de cable se acopla de manera desmontable a la fuente de alimentación y al módulo de control a través del cable 408 y se usa para recibir las señales de potencia y de control desde la fuente de alimentación y el módulo de control.
