Abstract

A vaporisation device for a volatile active substance comprises a container having an imperforate bottom part (1) and a screw-on lid (2), with an active substance carrier (3) disposed in the container bottom part. The rim of the bottom part has a conically shaped sealing surface (5) co-operable, when the container is closed, with a similarly shaped sealing surface (6) on a stud (7) moulded on the lid (2). Apertures (4) in a depending flange of the lid permit the active substance to escape therethrough when the lid is rotated into the open position.
