Dispositivo de deshielo automático, aplicable a las neveras o refrigeradores domésticos del tipo de compresión provistos de una cámara fría que aloja un evaporador incorporado al circuito de refrigeración,el cual comprende un compresor externo y un termostato de mando del compresor, caracterizado por la disposición de una masa esponjosa absorbente situada en la cámara, en contacto con el evaporador la cual se impregna de hielo y agua en proporción variable según la fase del ciclo de marcha parada del compresor sin comprometer la conservación de los alimentos ni la nevera de hielo comestible.
