Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un procedimiento selectivo de extracción de metales de un mineral bruto, que comprende el tratamiento de dicho mineral bruto con un campo magnético dominante de las microondas, o campo H, en aplicador monomodo abierto, y la separación de los productos obtenidos. El procedimiento permite operar en continuo. Para la realización del procedimiento la invención define un dispositivo de procesado de mineral bruto que comprende una cámara (1) para confinar microondas y seleccionar un modo de campo H, de campo E o de campo alternante E-H, de acuerdo con las propiedades de permitividad dieléctrica y permeabilidad magnética complejas del mineral bruto, medios de transporte (7, 8, 9) para transportar removiendo las partículas del mineral bruto a través de la cámara, medios de aplicación para generar un campo electromagnético de microondas en el interior de la cámara, y medios de sintonización (4) para sintonizar y adaptar la frecuencia del modo electromagnético.
