Abstract

Herramienta de corte con un cuerpo principal y un revestimiento multicapa aplicado sobre el mismo, en donde al menos dos capas superpuestas del revestimiento multicapa contienen o están compuestas por óxido metálico de diferentes metales de los elementos de los grupos IVa a VIIa del sistema periódico de elementos, y/o de aluminio y/o de silicio, caracterizada por que las al menos dos capas de óxido metálico superpuestas están dispuestas de forma directamente adyacente, sin capa(s) intermedia(s) y se fabrican sucesivamente por medio de diferentes procedimientos PVD, seleccionados de i) rMS, ii) deposición mediante arco catódico (Arc-PVD), iii) recubrimiento iónico, iv) deposición por haz de electrones, y v) ablación láser, en donde las modificaciones de los respectivos procedimientos i) a v) no constituyen diferentes procedimientos PVD.
