Abstract

Procedimiento para la obtención de polvos de polietileno secos, finamente distribuidos y fluyentes, empleando disolventes orgánicos, caracterizado porque el polietileno de partida se disuelve a temperaturas elevadas en una mezcla de disolventes del polietileno y no disolventes para el mismo, de punto de ebullición más elevado que los disolventes, después de lo cual se destilan a temperatura elevada, primeramente en esencia los disolventes, hasta prácticamente su extracción total, a continuación de lo cual es cuando se destilan las fracciones residuales de los no disolventes, mientras que durante la destilación se trabaja bien mecánicamente la masa sólida de polietileno obtenida, que contiene líquido, fragmentándola y removiéndola constantemente.
