Metodo para proporcionar datos para determinar el riesgo de un individuo de desarrollar fallo renal agudo (FRA), o para determinar FRA, que comprende la deteccion y/o cuantificacion de una proteina al menos un 70% o 100% identica a la SEQ ID NO: 1, en una muestra biologica aislada de un individuo (sujeto), preferiblemente el individuo es un humano.
