Abstract
Una composición de moldeo de hoja termoestable para producir artículos moldeados que tienen una densidad de 1,1 g/cm3 a 1,4 g/cm3 incluyendo: (a) de 30 a 50 partes de resina termoestable; (b) de 1 a 10 partes de arcilla inorgánica tratada; (c) de 10 a 40 partes de un aditivo de perfil bajo seleccionado del grupo que consta de poliésteres saturados, poliestireno, poliésteres saturados enlazados con uretano, acetato de polivinilo, copolímeros de acetato de polivinilo, copolímeros de acetato de polivinilo ácido funcionales, polímeros y copolímeros de acrilato y metacrilato, homopolímeros y copolímeros incluyendo copolímeros bloque que tienen estireno, butadieno y butadienos saturados; (d) de 15 a 40 partes de fibra de vidrio; y (e) de 0 a 35 partes de un relleno inorgánico seleccionado del grupo que consta de tierra de diatomeas, microesferas huecas, esferas de cerámica, perlita expandida y vermiculato, carbonato de calcio, talco, caolín, carbono, sílice y 20 alúmina, donde dichas partes en peso son en base a 100 partes de composición de moldeo de hoja, y donde la arcilla inorgánica tratada es cualquier arcilla en capas que tenga cationes inorgánicos sustituidos por moléculas orgánicas.
