Abstract
Procedimiento de fabricación del aluminio por reducción del óxido de aluminio por el carbono a temperatura elevadaen el cual se alcanza una temperatura cercana de los 2.400ºCen una masa de carga a base de óxido de aluminio y de carbonoen un horno eléctrico de arcocon la correspondiente colada de la totalidad de la mezcla líquida de aluminio y de carburo de aluminio producidaque contiene menos de un 3% en peso de óxido de aluminio y del orden del 70% en pesoo más aún de aluminio libre.
