Método de copolimerizar estireno y alfa-metilestirenoqeu consiste en formar una suspensión acuosa de una masa polimerizableconstituida por 95 a 70 partes de estireno y 5 a 30 partes de alfa-metilestirenoy de 000 a 050 partespor pesoa base del peso de dicha mezclade un peróxido orgánico qeu se descompone a una temperatura de 100 a 125ºCcalentar dicha masa a una temperatura de 100 a 140ºChasta que se haya efectuado una conversión de como 90por cientopor lo menos de monómero en polímero y quitar de la masa polimerizada el monómero residual.
