Abstract
Se proporciona un procedimiento para la protección diferencial de transformador midiendo una pluralidad de corrientes correspondientes a un primer conjunto de bobinados y a un segundo conjunto de bobinados de un transformador, y compensando las corrientes en base a sus respectivos flujos a través del primer conjunto de bobinados, o bien a través del segundo conjunto de bobinados. Las corrientes compensadas pueden aumentarse intencionalmente para compensar condiciones de corriente de magnetización y/o de sobre-excitación estática, asociadas al transformador. El aumento basado en la sobre-excitación estática, por ejemplo, puede basarse bien en la restricción de armónicos o bien en una adición de una razón V/Hz a una señal restrictiva. Se calcula una razón compleja de corrientes correspondiente a la pluralidad de corrientes compensadas. La razón compleja de corrientes puede basarse en un aparato de suministro eléctrico equivalente de dos terminales. Luego, se aplica un análisis de plano alfa a la razón compleja de corrientes. En base al análisis de plano alfa, se activa selectivamente un aparato de suministro eléctrico que incluye el transformador.
