Abstract
aparelho e método de inspeção eletromagnética. a presente invenção refere-se a um método e aparelho para a inspeção de componentes eletricamente condutivos. o aparelho descrito compreendendo um módulo de sensor dotado de uma unidade magnetizadora adequada para gerar um campo magnético de dc variável no componente de teste e uma sonda de corrente parasita. o campo magnético de dc variável e a sonda de corrente parasita são configurados para desempenhar um teste de corrente parasita de saturação parcial no componente de teste. a sonda de corrente parasita compreende adicionalmente um sensor de campo magnético que fornece um meio para medir a permeabilidade no componente de teste. empregar o sensor de campo magnético fornece o aparelho que é mais preciso e flexível em seus modos de operação, uma vez que os sensores fornecem um meio para a permeabilidade real de um material que é testado ser medida. os métodos e o aparelho descritos encontrar aplicação em particular na inspeção de componentes tubulares usados nas indústrias de exploração e produção de óleo e gás.
