Abstract

Description

File installation

The present invention relates to a file installation, comprising a plurality of file modules that slide along guides to better utilize the available space.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Currently known archival facilities seek to make the most of the available space. Traditionally the shelves of the archives were fixed and the space destined for the archiving could not be conveniently used.

For this maximum use of space, archiving facilities are known, consisting of scrollable archiving modules, so that it is necessary to move certain archiving modules depending on the archiving module that contains the documentation or the objects to be consulted.

Currently known file facilities comprise a plurality of file modules placed next to each other with their front and rear faces in contact with each other. In this way, when you want to consult a document in a file module, you must slide the rest of the file modules that prevent access to the front surface of the file module in question in a direction perpendicular to the front surface of the module.

These archiving facilities have the main drawback that the space that can be achieved between two contiguous archiving modules in their access position to the archiving module that is desired is very small. This reduced space can even prevent the user of the file from consulting the information they want in this same space and then leave the document in its original position.

Another drawback of these archiving facilities is that all archiving modules must be scrollable, or at most one end can be fixed, which makes archival installation more expensive.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

With the file installation of the invention, the aforementioned drawbacks are resolved, presenting other advantages that will be described.

The file installation of the present invention comprises a plurality of file modules, each file module defining a front surface for access to the archived objects, at least some of said file modules being movable along one or more guides, and is characterized by the fact that at least some of said file modules are laterally movable with respect to said front surface of each file module.

Thanks to this feature, there is no limitation in the space available to the user who consults the documentation or the archived objects, since with the arrangement of the archiving modules according to the present invention narrow aisles are not formed between said modules.

According to a preferred embodiment, said file modules are placed in two rows, defining a front row and a rear row depending on the placement of the front surface of the file modules, the file modules of the front row being laterally movable.

If desired, said file modules may be placed in a plurality of rows, defining a front row, a rear row and a plurality of intermediate rows depending on the placement of the front surface of the file modules, the modules being file of the front row and intermediate rows that can be moved laterally.

Advantageously, the number of file modules in the front row and / or in the intermediate rows is less in one unit than the number of file modules in the rear row.

If desired, the file modules of said rear row can be fixed, for example if they are placed against a wall, which makes the cost of the file installation less than in the case where all the file modules are scrollable

DESCRIPTION OF A PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

As can be seen in the figures, the file installation of the present invention comprises a plurality of file modules 1, some of which are movable along guides 2 and others are fixed. In particular, in the scrollable file modules 1 arrows have been drawn indicating the movement that said file modules 1 can describe.

Each file module 1 defines a front surface 3 through which documentation or archived objects can be accessed.

As can be seen in the figures, said file modules have a rectangular plan, said front surface corresponding to one of the larger faces of said rectangle.

According to the invention, the movable file modules 1 are sliding along the guides 2 laterally with respect to said front surface 3, as shown by the arrows. That is, said movement of the file modules 1 is perpendicular to said front surface 3, unlike conventional file modules, in which said movement is perpendicular to said front surface 3.

Two possible configurations of the file installation of the present invention have been shown in the figures. However, it is clear that the present invention is not limited to these configurations, but may have any suitable configuration.

Figure 1 shows a configuration of two rows, a front row 4 and a rear row 6. It should be noted that the definition of the rows is given by the position of the front surfaces 3 of the file modules 1 that form the rows

In this way, the file modules 1 of the rear row 6 are fixed and are adjacent to a wall. On the other hand, the file modules 1 of the front row 4 are laterally movable, and their number is lower by one unit with respect to the file modules 1 of the rear row 6. In this case, the front row 4 is formed by three file modules 1, while the rear row 6 is formed by four file modules 1.

To access a desired file module 1, it is simply necessary to move the file module 1 placed in front of it, it may also be necessary to move the remaining file modules 1.

A second arrangement of the file installation of the present invention is shown in Figure 2.

In this second embodiment, the file modules 1 are placed in three rows: a front row 4, an intermediate row 5 and a rear row 6. In this case the intermediate row 5 is also movable, as is the front row 4, while the rear row 6 is fixed.

Also in this case the number of file modules 1 in the front row 4 is one unit lower than the number of file modules 1 in the back row 6. The number of file modules 1 in the intermediate row 5 is equal to the number of front row file modules 4.

As in the case of the previous embodiment, to access a desired file module 1 it is simply necessary to move the file modules 1 placed in front of it, it may also be necessary to move the remaining file modules 1.

It should be noted that in alternative embodiments this provision could change. Thus, for example, the file modules 1 may be arranged in the following ways:

-

 a single row of scrollable file modules 1 placed in front of a window, an electrical panel or an air conditioner;

-

a row of fixed file modules 1 with additional fixed modules also positioned transversely to the rest of the fixed file modules 1, and a row of movable file modules 1;

-

 two rows of fixed file modules 1 placed adjacent and with their front surfaces 3 on the external parts, with a row of file modules 1 movable in front of each row of fixed file modules 1, optionally with additional modules placed transversely to said rows of fixed 1 file modules.

Although reference has been made to a specific embodiment of the invention, it is apparent to one skilled in the art that the described file installation is susceptible to numerous variations and modifications, and that all the mentioned details can be replaced by others technically equivalent, without departing from the scope of protection defined by the appended claims.

Claims (6)

1. File installation, comprising a plurality of file modules (1), each file module defining a front surface (3) for access to the archived objects, at least some of said file modules being movable to the along one or more guides (2), characterized by the fact that at least some of said file modules (1) are laterally movable in relation to said front surface (3) of each 5 file module (1). 2. File installation according to claim 1, wherein said file modules (1) are placed in two rows, defining a front row and a rear row depending on the placement of the front surface (3) of the modules file (1), the file modules (1) of the front row being laterally movable. 3. File installation according to claim 1, wherein said file modules (1) are placed in a plurality of rows, defining a front row (4), a rear row (5) and a plurality of intermediate rows (6) depending on the placement of the front surface (3) of the archiving modules (1), the archiving modules (1) of the front row (4) and the intermediate rows (6) being laterally movable. 4. File installation according to claim 2 or 3, wherein the number of file modules (1) in the front row (4) and / or in the intermediate rows (6) is smaller in one unit than the number of archiving modules (1) in the back row 15 (5). 5. Statement motivated according to articles 29.6 and 29.7 of the Regulations for the execution of Law 11/1986, of March 20, on Patents on novelty and inventive activity; quotes and explanations in support of this statement The present application refers to a file installation consisting of a plurality of mobile modules to make better use of the available space. The object of the invention according to claims 1-5 is a file installation formed by a series of modules placed in a plurality of rows, a fixed rear row, and a front and one or several intermediate ones being defined, with a smaller number of modules in a unit to the number of these in the rear, in which said modules are laterally movable along guides. These technical characteristics are already known from document D01, which describes a shelving system formed by several modules arranged in several rows that are laterally movable on a series of guides to allow access to those located at the rear. The bottom row has one more module than the rest and they remain fixed (paragraphs [0018-0026]; figures) Therefore, claims 1 to 5 are not new based on what is described in document D01. Documents D02 (column 4, lines 3-22; figures; summary), D03 (summary; figures) and D04 (column 3, line 29 column 4, line 14; figure 1), meanwhile, refer to modular systems of storage consisting of two rows of modules a fixed rear and a laterally movable front on guides, which also has a module less than the rear. Therefore, claims 1-2 and 4-5 are not new based on what is described in documents D02, D03 or D04. Placing the scrollable modules in a single row or in several, is considered one of the options that the expert in the matter would choose according to the circumstances without the exercise of inventive activity, therefore, claim 3 lacks inventive activity based on what is described in any of these documents.
