Abstract

Sistema de grabación de incidentes de tráfico instalado en vehículos de carretera, que comprende:
- al menos una cámara de vídeo (1) instalada en el propio vehículo, para registrar las imágenes en movimiento en el entorno del vehículo;
- medios de adquisición de vídeo (2) configurados para capturar las imágenes de vídeo provenientes de la cámara de vídeo (1);
- medios de almacenamiento de datos (3) con memoria no volátil y encargados de registrar las imágenes de vídeo digitales provenientes de la tarjeta de adquisición de datos (2);
- puerto de comunicaciones (5), preferentemente un puerto USB, a través del cual se puede enviar a una unidad de almacenamiento externa la información almacenada en los medios de almacenamiento de datos (3).
Adicionalmente puede comprender una unidad interface (4) que recoge datos de la electrónica del vehículo, de forma que se registran sincronizadamente con las imágenes de vídeo.
