Descripción del bioensayo. Se llevaron a cabo dos ensayos independientes sobre plantas de tomate de 4-5 semanas de crecimiento. El ensayo consistió en poner 5 adultos de Myzus persicae sobre hojas de tomate pretratadas 24 horas antes con MSB (200 \muM) y con agua (Control). Cuatro días después se retiraron los individuos adultos dejando únicamente 5 ninfas sincronizadas. Estas ninfas se mantienen asentadas un período de 11 días sobre las hojas tratadas y no tratadas de las mismas plantas y en ese momento se procede al conteo del número de ninfas nuevas puestas por tratamiento.
