Abstract

Object of the invention

The present invention relates to a device for holding shower screens, of the type of which comprise: a tubular guide provided with an open bottom groove longitudinally, fixed supports intended to be fixed on the tubular guide and to support a fixed sheet of the screen, and about movable supports provided with sliding cars housed in the inside said tubular guide and supporting a sheet movable screen.

Background of the invention

In bathrooms the installation of screens to prevent water splashing out of the area delimited by the bathtub or shower tray.

These screens are generally constituted by some sheets of glass or other material that make up the part fixed and the moving part of the screen, including in some cases a tubular bar or guide on which the upper end of the sheets using fixed or mobile supports.

In the utility model U-200301356 means of glass support in bathroom slides, in which the guide it has a longitudinal groove, open inferiorly, mounting on said guide the movable supports and the fixed supports of the Sheets of the screen.

Description of the invention

The device for holding shower screens of the present invention comprises particularities constructive oriented to facilitate the assembly tasks of the screen, avoid visible screws on the face external of the screen and the practice of holes in the guide during the screen assembly. It also allows leveling adjustment horizontal of the sheet or sheets held by the movable supports and reduce the number of screws needed to fix one sheet to each mobile stand, which facilitates installation and improvement the final finish of the mentioned screens, by allowing the mentioned adjustment of the movable glass sheets of the screen and a greater ease of installation

The clamping device of this invention is of the type described above, that is, comprising an upper tubular guide with an open bottom groove longitudinally, fixed supports and mobile supports, the mobile supports being associated with cars mounted with possibility of movement inside the guide tubular.

According to the invention, the supports mobile devices comprise means for regulating horizontal leveling of the suspended sheet of the same and some means, which allow the fixing the detachable wing to the main wing using a single screw, which is visible only on the inside of the screen, without deteriorating its exterior aesthetics.

Said means of regulation are composed of an eccentric washer mounted with the possibility of turning on a cylindrical pivot protruding from the rear surface of the wing main of the movable support, said pivot having a threaded hole for rear mounting of the single screw detachable wing fixing.

Said eccentric washer has a diameter slightly lower than the hole in the blade screen for mounting, so turning the eccentric manages to arrange the corresponding area of the sheet of the screen to  a variable height with respect to the mobile support, which facilitates the horizontal leveling of the leaf.

The detachable wing of said mobile support presents laterally on the face facing the main wing a anchor lip, angled in "L", intended to stay in a cleft of the same geometry defined on the rear face of the wing main mobile support, and with enough clearance to allow simultaneously, using a single clamping screw, the pinched the eccentric washer against the main wing and the fixing said detachable wing.

In turn, the fixed support comprises a wing main solidarity with a hook superior to the guide. On said main wing a detachable wing is attached which is held by a nerve or prominence inserted in a cage of the main wing and a screw, leaving the fixed sheet of the screen pinched between these wings.

The upper hook of the fixed support has a section similar to that of the tubular support guide, that is, a tubular configuration with a bottom groove, coinciding with the of said guide. This hook configuration determines that the fixed supports must be mounted in a sliding way by one of the ends of the guide and not vertically by its upper area, with that the disassembly or accidental lifting of the supports is avoided fixed.

Said hook has in its upper zone some threaded holes for mounting tightening screws, responsible for establishing a push against the upper surface of the guide and ensure the retention of said mobile support in the desired position. In this way it is possible to lock the fixed support over any area of the guide, without the need to perform through holes in said guide. In addition, these screws allow a subsequent adjustment of the position of the fixed support with respect to the guide, since the guide is not damaged by not having to drill it to accommodate the screws.

It is expected that this guide present superiorly and in the longitudinal direction a blind recess or groove which defines the area of action of the fixing screws of the fixed supports, ensuring correct vertical positioning of said fixed supports and their impossibility of rotation with respect to the guide tubular.

Preferred Embodiment of the Invention

As can be seen in the figures referenced the clamping device comprises a tubular guide (1) with a longitudinal groove (11) open inferiorly, about fixed supports (3) for securing the fixed sheet (4) of the screen and movable supports (5) for securing the blade movable (6).

The fixed supports (3) comprise a wing main (31) integral with a coupling hook (33) on the guide (1) and a detachable wing (32). Said detachable wing (32) comprises a fixing screw (36) and a rib or prominence (34) lace and centered in a recess (35) of the main wing (31).

The aforementioned hook (33) is constituted by a section profile similar to the guide (1) and diameter slightly larger than said guide (1).

The aforementioned hook (33) presents in its area top threaded holes for mounting screws fixing (2) acting against the outer surface of the guide (1) setting the fixed support fixation (3) in position desired.

In the example shown, the guide (1) presents superiorly a blind recess or groove (12), oriented longitudinally, for the reception of the ends of the fixing screws (2) of the fixed supports (3) with respect to the said guide (1), which prevents the rotation of said fixed supports (3) and ensures its correct positioning.

In turn, each of the mobile supports (5) It consists of a main wing (51) associated with a car (53) movable inside the guide (1) and by a removable wing (52).

The main wing (51) presents on its face afterwards a cylindrical pivot (54) with a threaded hole (55), being mounted on said cylindrical pivot (54) a eccentric washer (8), swivel, intended to be housed in a hole made in the movable sheet (6) of the screen.

By rotating said eccentric washer (8) a controlled rise or fall of the area of fixation of the movable sheet (6) with respect to the corresponding support (5).

The detachable wing (52) presents laterally in its upper part an angled anchoring lip (56), which is housed in a slit (57) of the same geometry defined on the inner face of the main wing (51) of the mobile support. Said detachable wing (52) presents a hole for the positioning of a single fixing screw (7) that is inserted into the threaded hole (55) of the pivot (54) of the main wing (51), blocking the blade movable (6) of the screen and the eccentric washer (8) in position chosen

Claims (5)

Mounting device for shower screens, of the type comprising an upper tubular guide (1) with a lower groove (11), longitudinally open, fixed supports (3) responsible for holding the fixed sheet (4) of the screen and that are fixed on the mentioned tubular guide (1) by means of a claw or hook (33), and mobile supports (5) responsible for holding the moving sheet (6) of the screen and that are associated with a carriage (53) that move inside the said tubular guide (1), said fixed supports (3) and movable supports (5) comprising a main wing (31 and 51) and a detachable wing (32 and 52), characterized because the hook or claw (33) of the fixed support (3) has a contour similar to that of the guide (1) and that hugs it externally, said hook (33) presenting in its lower area a coincident opening and of a width similar to that of the groove (11) of said profile and in its upper area threaded holes for mounting one s screws (2) that act against the outer surface of the guide (1) immobilizing the fixed support (3); further characterized in that the movable support (5) has on the rear face of the main wing (51) a cylindrical pivot (54) on which an eccentric washer (8) is mounted with the possibility of rotation intended to be housed in a hole defined in the movable sheet (6) of the screen, determining the rotation of said eccentric washer (8) an elevation or descent of the movable sheet (6) with respect to the mobile support (5). Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the cylindrical pivot (54) of the movable supports axially has a threaded hole (55) for mounting a screw (7) for fixing the removable wing (52) that establishes the tighten the eccentric washer (8) against the main wing (51), immobilizing it in the desired angular position.
