Abstract
Un aparato para administrar en forma remota un dispositivo inalámbrico a través de una red inalámbrica, que consta de un procesador con capacidad para ejecutar instrucciones de programas de computación y una memoria con capacidad para almacenar instrucciones de programas de computación ejecutables por el procesador, caracterizado por su capacidad para: - establecer una conexión de comunicación entre el servidor y el dispositivo inalámbrico en un canal deradiotransmisión de paquetes de la red de telecomunicaciones; - transmitir un comando desde el servidor hasta el dispositivo inalámbrico a través del canal de radiotransmisión de paquetes; y - ejecutar el comando en el dispositivo inalámbrico.
Claims (20)
1. Un aparato para administrar en forma remota un
dispositivo inalámbrico a través de una red inalámbrica, que consta
de un procesador con capacidad para ejecutar instrucciones de
programas de computación y una memoria con capacidad para almacenar
instrucciones de programas de computación ejecutables por el
procesador, caracterizado por su capacidad para:
establecer una conexión de comunicación entre el
servidor y el dispositivo inalámbrico en un canal de
radiotransmisión de paquetes de la red de telecomunicaciones;
transmitir un comando desde el servidor hasta el
dispositivo inalámbrico a través del canal de radiotransmisión de
paquetes; y
ejecutar el comando en el dispositivo
inalámbrico.
2. El aparato de la reivindicación 1,
caracterizado porque el canal de radiotransmisión de paquetes
de la red de telecomunicaciones comprende un Canal de Servicio de
Radio de Paquetes General.
3. El aparato de la reivindicación 2,
caracterizado porque el aparato tiene capacidad para
transmitir el comando a un proceso del agente de administración que
se ejecuta en el dispositivo inalámbrico.
4. El aparato de la reivindicación 3,
caracterizado porque el aparato tiene capacidad para
transmitir el comando a un proceso del agente de administración que
se ejecuta en el dispositivo inalámbrico en un mensaje del servicio
de mensajes cortos.
5. El aparato de la reivindicación 4,
caracterizado porque el aparato tiene capacidad para
transmitir el comando a un proceso del agente de administración que
se ejecuta en el dispositivo inalámbrico.
6. El aparato de la reivindicación 5,
caracterizado porque la conexión de comunicación se establece
periódicamente.
7. El aparato de la reivindicación 5,
caracterizado porque la conexión de comunicación se establece
en base a una condición de umbral.
8. El aparato de la reivindicación 5,
caracterizado porque el comando comprende como mínimo una de
las siguientes funciones:
habilitar/inhabilitar el acceso del dispositivo
inalámbrico al servidor;
habilitar/inhabilitar las aplicaciones que pueden
ejecutarse en el dispositivo inalámbrico;
borrar del dispositivo inalámbrico la totalidad o
parte de los contenidos;
transmitir nuevos comandos y parámetros al
dispositivo inalámbrico;
consultar el estado actual del dispositivo
inalámbrico;
controlar un nivel de batería en el dispositivo
inalámbrico;
controlar una ubicación del dispositivo
inalámbrico en la red inalámbrica; y
reconfigurar las aplicaciones que pueden
ejecutarse en el dispositivo inalámbrico.
9. El aparato de la reivindicación 8,
caracterizado porque el aparato tiene capacidad para
transmitir información relacionada con la ejecución del comando en
el dispositivo inalámbrico desde el dispositivo inalámbrico hasta el
servidor.
10. El aparato de la reivindicación 9,
caracterizado porque la información relacionada con la
ejecución del comando se transmite periódicamente.
11. El aparato de la reivindicación 9,
caracterizado porque la información relacionada con la
ejecución del comando se transmite en base a una condición de umbral
del dispositivo inalámbrico.
12. El aparato de la reivindicación 2,
caracterizado porque el aparato tiene capacidad para:
recibir información de registro proporcionada por
el dispositivo inalámbrico;
verificar la información de registro
recibida;
colocar un comando para el dispositivo
inalámbrico en un bloque de control de datos (data control block,
DCB); y
entregar el comando al dispositivo
inalámbrico.
13. El aparato de la reivindicación 12,
caracterizado porque el aparato tiene capacidad para:
establecer una conexión con el dispositivo
inalámbrico;
recibir del dispositivo inalámbrico una solicitud
de contenidos del DCB; y
transmitir los contenidos del DCB al dispositivo
inalámbrico.
14. El aparato de la reivindicación 13,
caracterizado porque la conexión se establece
periódicamente.
15. El aparato de la reivindicación 13,
caracterizado porque la conexión se establece en base a una
condición de umbral.
16. El aparato de la reivindicación 12,
caracterizado porque el aparato tiene capacidad para:
establecer una conexión con el dispositivo
inalámbrico; y
transmitir los contenidos del DCB al dispositivo
inalámbrico sin una solicitud del dispositivo inalámbrico.
17. El aparato de la reivindicación 16,
caracterizado porque la conexión se establece
periódicamente.
18. El aparato de la reivindicación 16,
caracterizado porque la conexión se establece en base a una
condición de umbral.
19. El aparato de la reivindicación 12,
caracterizado porque el comando comprende como mínimo una de
las siguientes funciones:
habilitar/inhabilitar el acceso del dispositivo
inalámbrico al servidor;
habilitar/inhabilitar las aplicaciones que pueden
ejecutarse en el dispositivo inalámbrico;
borrar del dispositivo inalámbrico la totalidad o
parte de los contenidos;
transmitir nuevos programas y datos al
dispositivo inalámbrico;
consultar el estado actual del dispositivo
inalámbrico;
controlar un nivel de batería en el dispositivo
inalámbrico;
controlar una ubicación del dispositivo
inalámbrico en la red inalámbrica; y
reconfigurar las aplicaciones que pueden
ejecutarse en el dispositivo inalámbrico.
20. El aparato de la reivindicación 12,
caracterizado porque el aparato tiene capacidad para recibir
del dispositivo inalámbrico información relacionada con la
ejecución del comando en dicho dispositivo.
