Abstract

Magneto-hydrodynamic generator with wind turbine.The magneto-hydrodynamic generator with wind turbine consists of an electrical generator operating on the Faraday principal, by circulating a fluid with high electrical conductivity which flows through an electrically insulated pipe and a magnetic field passes through it perpendicular to the direction of flow of the said fluid. Two diametrically opposed electrodes in a section of the pipe through which the magnetic field passes capture the current in the conducting fluid as a result of the induction of an electromotive force between them, which is used in a user circuit or mains. The fluid is circulated by a pump driven by wind power. The wind motor consists of a turbine or conventional windmill. To increase the power output, a number of units can be connected together electrically.<IMAGE>
