PROCESO PARA EL TRATAMIENTO DE MELAZAS OBTENIDAS COMO PRODUCTOS-INTERMEDIOS EN LA MANUFACTURA DEL AZUCAR, QUE COMPRENDE LOS PASOS DE SEPARACION CROMATOGRAFICA DE UNA PRIMERA FRACCION DE MELAZAS DE UNA PLURALIDAD DE FRACCIONES, UNA DE LAS CUALES AL MENOS RICA EN AZUCAR, Y UNA DE BAJO CONTENIDO EN AZUCAR; MEZCLAR DICHA FRACCION DE BAJO CONTENIDO EN AZUCAR CON UNA SEGUNDA FRACCION DE MELAZAS PARA OBTENER UN MOSTO DILUIDO EN UNA DISOLUCION QUE SEA APTA PARA EL SIGUIENTE TRATAMIENTO DE FERMENTACION; LA FERMENTACON DE DICHO MOSTO DILUIDO, Y LA SEPARACION Y SI ES NECESARIA LA PURIFICACION DEL PRODUCTO OBTENIDO DE DICHO TRATAMIENTO Y LA DESCARGA DEL RESIDUO. EL PROCESO SE LLEVA A CABO EN UNA PLANTA QUE COMPRENDE UNA COLUMNA DE SEPARACION CROMATOGRAFICA(1) EN LA CUAL SE ALIMENTA UNA FRACCION DE MELAZAS A PARTIR DE (2) Y AGUA A PARTIR DE (3) Y (4). EN (5) SE EXTRAE UNA FRACCION RICA EN AZUCAR, MIENTRAS QUE LA FRACCION EN (7) DE BAJO CONTENIDO EN AZUCAR SE ALIMENTA A LA CUBA (11) JUNTO CON UNA SEGUNDAFRACCION DE MELAZAS ALIMENTADAS A PARTIR DE (12), Y SE FERMENTA.
