Abstract
Método para purificar una corriente de gas procedente de un reactor (1) para la condensación en fase sólida, preferentemente de poliésteres aromáticos tales como resinas de poliéster o poliamidas, p. ej., de tipo aromático. La corriente de gas contiene impurezas formadas por compuestos orgánicos. Un gas que contiene al menos oxígeno es alimentado a la corriente de gas con impurezas y la corriente conjunta de ambos gases es pasada a temperatura elevada, en especial entre 280°C y 380°C, a través de un catalizador (8). La cantidad de oxígeno utilizada con respecto a las impurezas orgánicas se encuentra en una relación hipoestequiométrica. La invención se caracteriza porque la relación entre el oxígeno y las impurezas se controla mediante al menos una sonda lambda (lambda1 o lambda2) conectada a través de un conductor eléctrico al catalizador.
